Abby was so excited to be in the world premiere of A&A's production of the Nutcracker downtown Chicago. She was the part of a "poor spirited mouse" and a "happy cloud". Abby loved to be on stage with the older dancers and enjoyed every part of the show. She made new friends, learned to wear ballet tights without a battle, and became entranced by the idea of working hard to become a professional. She has already decided that she wants to be a part of it again next year. Thanks to the huge crowd of support from family and friends that came to watch her in the show. Family from down south came to see Abby perform. And, a special thanks to Grandma who stayed overnight in the city after dress rehearsal and took her and Sophie to the American Girl Store for three hours while I attended a conference that day!
