Three Hour Tour

Annual boat rental in Florida was a little more adventurous when you have six kids on the boat instead of two!  Per the Binkowski's request, we added in a little fishing to the mix of fun, and to our surprise, actually caught some fish!  The highlight however, had to have been the mystery tidal wave that overcame the boat and somehow drenched Uncle Andy more than anyone else.  It was funny, mostly because he didn't have his bathing suit on yet!  Captain Rodger took us to some of our favorite places, like the dog beach and along the sandbars to go shelling on our adventures for the day.  As always, it was a great time on the boat in Florida.

Perfect way to end the day

The best ending to a spring break evening is with the sunset on the beach.... bottle of wine, some snacks, kids playing in the sand, and a perfect view of the water.  Amen.
Love this photo of all of us!

Shadow Wood, party of 12

It's always a fun time to take the whole family golfing.  The Binkowski kids are great influences on the Guebert girls for the game... we are hoping that someone in the family will be great at the sport some day!  The kids were so excited not only to play, but also to get some time to drive the golf carts.  Months later, I'm still hearing about it...

Frustrated with the game, or enjoying the sun.  You decide.

Sophie not happy with her driver lately...

After a few more lessons from Mae, she picked up and ended in great spirits!

Twinning

Sophie was given a new hat for spring break... found it in the $3 bin at Target... and it matches my not $3 hat that she always tries to borrow! Happy that we are twinning in the sunshine, no matter what the price...

Universal Studios - Volcano Bay Rocks!

Part I of the Spring Break trip this year was to go to Universal Studios and check out their new waterpark, Volcano Bay.  It was a huge hit with our family!  Whether you stay at the Cabana Bay (where we stayed on Day 1) or the tropical themed Royal Pacific Hotel, you're sure to have a great time.  Our highlights from Volcano Bay included the Aqua Coaster, family tubes, and the ringing of the bells for the wave pool.  But of course, who doesn't love a lazy river or the kids play areas!  It was a ton of fun and we would go again and again.  Being theme park troopers, we maximized our passes and spent the early mornings and evenings at Universal theme parks on the Harry Potter rides and other main events.  For some reason, Sophie couldn't get enough of the ride through New York City with Jimmy Fallon.  I think I rode that one 5 times in two days.
Always a great time in Orlando, always a need for a vacation after this leg of the vacation!

We always love a little Harry Potter!

Smiling because they are having so much fun

Such a gray sky, but a wonderful day for Volcano Bay.

She gets it...

Just a perfect morning with my girls...

Waited three days to get these doughnuts...

And, they were worth it, according to them!

So, let me tell  you the story about "Kong"....

Always "twinning" at the theme parks.  That's how we roll....

DDC

This is Sophie's happy place... being silly with her dance friends!

My favorite place

Sophie was given this writing prompt for homework... not sure if she picked this spot because we are days away from spring break or if she is just like her mom!

Watch Dog 2018

The best school day of the year for these two girls!!

Cheer family

I could not be more proud of Maddy and Megan and their accomplishments as cheerleaders. Their teams are amazing and win all of the time, and each of them are incredibly talented in all aspects of the sport. It was so fun to go and watch them compete. Sophie also bonded with Peyton, a family friend. Abby is intrigued by the sport but clearly not ready for it yet!

March Brownies meeting

March meeting was all about being s community helper. The girls prepped to be in the St Patty's Day parade by making necklaces and learning about flags. They also learned how to properly fold the American flag.

Then and Now...

This was a little writing assignment Abby completed. It was hanging on her locker at Open House.
