Abby’s first grade art work

Just a little sample of work from Abby's art class at school. Love the innocence and creativity of her little mind.

Black Rock rocks!

Had a great date night at the opening weekend of the new restaurant in town. Fun way to eat and free desserts are even better.

Out on a school night?!

Thanks to Dad and Ecolab, we had a great family night out at Top Golf. Mommy swung the club pretty well for being so out of the golf world for the past decade. The girls definitely had fun not only hitting the balls but also eating the injectable jelly filled donut holes! Score!

Science Fair 2018

This year's science fair project came about as an idea I ran across online in an email... the girls and Rodger agreed to "Snowstorm in a Jar". It was an easy project for Rodger, I mean, the girls to complete. They all had fun mixing the oil, water and Alka seltzer—- but next year the girls will need to do a bit more of their own project.

I remember when I was little and won "Pod Project" of the year award in middle school because my mom did all of the artwork for all of my posters. I feel like it's come full circle! Nevertheless, the girls learned a little science and had a lot of fun showing off their stuff at the fair!

Main Event Party

Abby and Emmy threw one great birthday party for their seventh birthdays. These two February birthday girls had such a great time with all of their first grade friends and sisters. We are so appreciative of the many many gifts that she received from all of her friends!

New Years Resolutions

Sophie's list:

It’s a Hit

Sophie and her class hit it out of the park with their second grade musical "It's a hit". She loved singing about baseball and being in front of an audience.

Family Party Day

Abby had such a great weekend celebrating with our family. We are so grateful that most of our families were able to spend some time with her. From watching ice skating to playing Nintendo Dance games, everyone had such a great time. Abby really had fun at Main Event AGAIN... playing lots of video games with cousins. The best part was watching Xander and the ball game! Beau and Oscar joined in for the fun too. After bowling, the crew went sledding. Lots of great photos and laughs were had. Abby chose lasagna, meatballs, pasta, garlic bread, and Portillos's Chocolate cake for her birthday dinner. The night ended with watching Coco. Then, on her REAL birthday, we went to go see "The Greatest Showman" for the third time, played with her new toys, went shopping for more gifts, set up her new bedroom, and ate Chinese food (her second favorite meal). I don't know how we could have had a better birthday week for this special seven year old!

Roller Skating Party

Happy Presidents Day fun with the Brownie troop... and Loran and Chris. We all had a great time enjoying roller skating. Loran, Chris and I hadn't been on skates in years but we had just as much time as the kids.
