Mardi Gras Fun

The girls and their friends had fun dressing up for Mardi Gras at Cress Creek for dinner. They didn't quite understand why, but loved the idea of the masks and beads for a fun night out!

SOPHIE

I was so proud of Sophie's work that it was frame worthy.... these are the words she used to describe herself and then create the collage on the iPad in school.

She does not wear pants

It may be freezing but this girl will NOT wear pants to school. Our compromise is snow pants are to be worn at recess. Abby just wants to look pretty... and for her, pretty means a skirt or dress every day.

Troll's Dance Party

To further celebrate Abby's 6th birthday, she wanted a Trolls themed dance party at SPA with all of her friends.  Below is a video from the event.

Abby's 6th Birthday Party

Abby celebrated turning six with a big weekend! She played a great game of soccer, had Grandma Janis, Grandpa, and Aunt Kay in town for her special day, and had two birthday parties! For her family party, Abby chose to eat her favorite Rigatoni D from Maggianos and a three layer cake from DeEttas. Then we went to IFly for an amazing experience. Her friend party was the following day and it was a hip hop dance party. All in all, she had a great weekend and loved being the center of attention as she turned six years old.

Valentines Day Parties

Here are a few snapshots of the girls at school from the Valentines Day service project. They made stuffed bears with their older buddies to donate to a local shelter. I always love being the photographer and coming to school to see the girls on party days!

Little Passports

The girls are very excited to start their monthly adventures with the Little Passports program. They described their maps, suitcases and Passports in the mail. Each month they will learn about a new country. Perhaps this will spark a new vacation for the family!! Win win!!
