Sunday Family Fun Day

It was Sunday, and a day with no official plans.  So, Daddy suggested we head into the city.  The Field Museum was our main attraction, and we were excited to see the 3D movies and the Terracotta Warriors.  (Well, Rodger was excited about the Warriors, the girls were not fans of the crowds!)  Abby and Sophie learned a lot about dinosaurs, Africa, and Greece.  We enjoyed a special dinner at Italian Villiage where the girls ate lots of bread and pizza with their new favorite topping, pepperoni.  Fun day for the family...

Star Wars fun

We celebrated Oscars birthday a week early. I've never seen a kid so excited for a toy. Oscar LOVED his Kylo Ren light saber. The whole crew played Star Wars for hours. Check out these costumes. But the best part of the night was the realization is that his new light saber connects with his old one to make a double. Good times, good times.

Saturday morning with no formal plans means a day of play time. Sophie and Abby packed themselves two bag and snacks to go play. They were going all the way to the basement.
