Fun Fair 2015

Welcome to Naper School..... We started off the year by attending the fun fair. The girls loved playing games, seeing new friends and having lots of fun!

Sophie's First Day of Kindgergarten

After a quick trip to Starbucks for a prekindergarten frappe, Sophie was all smiles for her preview day at Naper School.  She met her teacher Ms. March, found her locker and seat, listened to a story, and played with some of her friends.  It was a great first experience at school and she can't wait to go back tomorrow.

Kindergarten morning

Sophie woke up screaming of ear pain and so we spent the early morning at the minute clinic. She has a bad case of swimmers ear but was all smiles knowing that with a little medicine and a hug from Mom she will be ready for Kindergarten.

First Day of Pre - K

Abby is off to her first day of school at Bright Horizons. She is excited to be the oldest at the school and to see her teachers and best friends. Good luck Abigail Grace!

Third tooth = gone

Sophie is excited to have lost another tooth. She wrote a note to the tooth fairy and asked if she could save it till the first day of school to show her teacher. Fairy said yes!

Inaugural Visit to Lisa's Charlevoix House

Our family had an amazing time at Lisa's new lake house on Lake Charlevoix.  We enjoyed the boating, tubing, time with friends, and the hot tub!  This is our third summer up to Northern Michigan and we have really grown to love the area.  Here are our favorite photos from a great weekend.

Triathon, Take two

Rodger and David "TRI-ed" the sprint race here in Naperville.  Despite some setbacks with his bike, David had a great first experience.  Rodger was pleased with his times and is hoping to do it again next year!

Family Fun at the Arboretum

The Arboretum is a perfect meeting place to spend some time with friends and family during the summer time.  Sophie and Abby enjoyed the Lego exhibits as well as the Asian Festival.
