A little fun on the farm... in the city

Grandpa and Grandma Janis visited for the weekend and we brought THEM to the farm... at the Museum of Science and Insdustry.  Not quite the same as their farm, but good fun for the girls!

Ava won state for tumbling - age 9 - she is off to Nationals this summer!

There's Rodger, smiling in the middle of the chorus, as he is getting ready to perform with the Naperville Chorus at their spring concert.  He was all smiles, especially after completing his first solo with the group.  We are all so proud of him.

Spring Soccer 2015

Coach Rodger, Coach Doug, and Coach Lindsey fielded a team of enthusiastic 4 and 5 year olds this spring season.  It will be the only time that both Sophie and Abby will be on the same team...Pre K.  Sophie really developed as a strong player on the team whereas Abby strugged with wanting to play when the conditions weren't suitable for her (which was most of the time).  Nevertheless, the girls had a fun time and Rodger completed his second successful season of head coach.

NCSM in Boston

Valerie had a great opportunity to go to Boston for the NCSM math conference for a few days.  It was refreshing to be among hard working educators that are passionate for their work.  Aside from the conference, I had a chance to eat a lot of great seafood, take in the Boston sights, visit Harvard (and go in the sacred library just for students), and take a stroll in Boston Common. 

Hooray for Mom's NCAA picks

Yes, I pick the teams according to their conference, school colors, and how good their cheerleaders are for the NCAA tournament... but somehow it all paid off this year.  I won the brackets and $800.  Go Mommy!
