Abby Birthday Party No. 4!

This weekend we hosted Rodger's family for Abby's 4th birthday and marking the fourth time she is celebrating her birthday!  For a little fun, we ventured over to The Main Event for some games before the party.

Abby's Dora Cake was a hit!

Sir Rodger Guebert

Congratulations to Rodger on earning his Fourth Degree designation with the Knights of Columbus which means you will see him in the local parades with the plumed hat, cape, and sword.  Following the event was a formal dinner which allowed for a nice night out together.

Happy Second 4th Birthday Party to Abigail Grace

What a lucky girl to have such an exciting month full of festivities for her 4th birthday!  Abby invited her best friends from school to a Build-a-Bear party.  Sophie, Logan, and her twin besties Kendall and Dylan enjoyed picking out their special stuffed animal and naming them.  Abby named hers Candle after the birthday cake with a candle she received as a gift.  Sophie selected a My Little Pony and named her Magic.  The kids also had fun on the merry go round and just walking around the mall hand in hand.  Abby was all smiles.

Happy Valentines's Day from the Frozen Resort of Pheasant Run

The Guebert family celebrated Valentine's Day at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.  The highlight for the girls was the indoor/outdoor pool where they both swam under the glass wall to brave the 20 degree outdoor temperatures.  We enjoyed a fine dinner at Harvest as well as a Jazz champagne brunch in the Garden Atrium.  Little did we know that Elsa and Anna were also staying at the hotel that weekend.  That was just an added bonus.

A Gift from Grandma and Papa

Smiles of anticipation as the girls open a 40 flavor Jelly Belly box of candy for Valentine's Day

Sophie DID practice reading all of the flavors on the box lid before choosing her favorite(s).

Abby's first 4th Birthday Party

Abby, the youngest of all of our neighborhood friends, celebrated her birthday in style.  Elsa was kind enough to show up in the form of a blizzard for this Frozen themed party.  She enjoyed being the star of the show at the karaoke machine and getting dressed up for her birthday cake celebration.  Abby was kind enough to share her special day with this thing called the Super Bowl, which gave the males at the party reason to come!  The theater room was a big hit, especially for the half time show (which turned out to be more of a dance party for anyone 5 and under).  Abby is so lucky to have great friends and neighbors.  Thanks to all that came to her party!

Blizzard of 2015

Despite the snowy conditions of 15" of snow, we all had a fun time playing outside with our friends.

This fort was completely covered up after the evening snowfall!

100 Day Posters

At Bright Horizons, and most schools, we celebrate the 100th day of school with a big party.  The girls each came up with their own ideas for their 100 day projects.  Abby created the fish bowl and Sophie made the 100 crayon rainbow.
