Mini Glee Summer Camp - I Love the 80's

This week, Abby and Sophie both enjoyed the Mini Glee camp at the Naperville School of Performing Arts.  Below is a video of the final performance which showed off what they learned through the week.  Even though Abby didn't want to participate in the performance, she had a great week and can't wait until next year!!

Soccer Summer Camp

Sophie and Abby both participated in the Naperville Park District's Youth Soccer Camp.  Below is a picture on the last day of class.  Sophie REALLY loved learning all about Soccer and can't wait to play this fall.

Grandma Turns 100

Rodger's Maternal Grandmother turned 100 years old on June 12th so we traveled to Southern Illinois to help celebrated this monumental milestone with the family.  The most amazing thing about Grandma turning 100 is she is still very sharp and is physically very healthy.  She lives at home and is very active with taking care of the house and visiting all of the Grandkids, Great Grandkids, and Great-Great Grandkids!  Below are a couple pictures from the day:

Sophie's Ballet Recital

And I was worried....

Since I had issues with cutting as a young child, I have been concerned that the girls need to focus on their scissor skills.  Then, Sophie brought home this art project in which she cut mini congruent regular pentagons.  I guess I should stop worrying about her cutting skills.... Nice picture Sophie!
