Webster Street Egg Hunt 2014

The gang is growing in size and in age!  This year's egg hunt was a ton of fun.  The big kids really helped the little ones and everyone shared their eggs.  Good times, neighbors!

Spring Break 2014

The Guebert family made our annual Spring Break trip to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and get away from ALL THE SNOW!!  Following is a summary of the week:

Saturday:
Travel day to Florida.  Despite not getting in until 10:00 PM, Sophie insisted on getting in the pool for a Midnight swim.  Thank you to Grandma and Papa for turning on the pool heater for us.

Sunday:
Valerie and Rodger took a charter deep sea fishing trip while the girls stayed home with Grandma.  Rodger didn't exactly haul in the big one but had a great time.  The biggest problem were the dolphins eating fish right off the hook!!

After returning from our fishing trip, we cleaned up and headed to our favorite ice cream stop, Scoops, for a late night treat!!
Rodger had to get the Banana Split!!

No, this is not a real gator
Monday:
Our neighbor, Lisa and her girls, were vacationing at South Seas Island Resort on Captiva, so we drove up to Captiva to spend the day.  We had lunch at the Mucky Duck and dinner at Key Lime Bistro, which was absolutely amazing.  Here are a few pictures from the day.

Can't eat at a place named Key Lime Bistro without having a slice of Key Lime pie!!

And the beautiful sunset to end the day

 Tuesday:
We decided to rent a boat for the day on Tuesday.  The weather was absolutely perfect and we were able to get out on the gulf and boat up and down the shore.  We boated up to Sanibel and had lunch at the Sanibel Marina.  We had to recreate the picture from last Spring Break with Abby by the Mariner statues.

Pulled the boat up on the beach at Lover's Key for a little fun

Wednesday and Thursday:
After packing up the van, we headed up to Orlando for a couple of days staying at the Grand Cypress Hyatt Regency (wonderful Hotel).  Our first day we visited Aquatica, which is a water park adjacent to Sea World.  Thursday was a day at Sea World.

The Sealion show is a Must See!!
