And this is what we returned to....

12 inches of snow and record low temperatures across the nation... which meant No School for the first two days of 2014.  Seems like the right thing to do when it is -40 degrees below zero, but I'm sure we will be antsy to get out of school come June!

Oh, and THANK GOD that we bought that new snow blower before going on vacation.  It has already been put to good use.

Beach Day

Nothing beats an 84 degree day at the beach in January!  We had such a great time playing with our cousins on this trip.  It was fun to see all of them play together so well.  They loved buiding sand castles and jumping the waves together.
