Abby's star of the week poster

Abby also was the star of the week lately. Abby made her poster at school with her teachers. It was news to us. She told them her favorite color was purple (it's pink), her favorite animal is a monkey (it's a giraffe) and her favorite food is teddy grahams (I've never bought them before in my life). So, we weren't so sure about this but I guess life is full of surprises!!

Here is Sophie's star of the week poster. It may be beyond the artistic skills of a four year old but that is because grandma helped her... Just as she helped me with all of my posters growing up through the years. Thanks grandma, and congrats to our little star!

Milestone Day

Kuipers Family Farm 2013

What a perfect day to enjoy the Kuipers Family farm and pumpkin patch!  The big orange pillow and Slide Mountain were a big hit for these girls.  It was nice to enjoy some great family time as well as time with our neighborhood friends.  Abby's hat and cat dress were a big hit.  Sophie was selected to hold a flag at the pig races and won a free donut.  You would have thought she won a million dollars!! Good times, good tradition...

Gymnastics skills....

Sophie and Abby are getting stronger and developing some skills at gymnastics.  Sophie claims this to be her favorite activity right now; and I'm pretty sure it's because of the new pink leo that her Auntie bought her for her birthday.  Both girls are holding themselves up in handstands and show great balance.  Abby walked the beam by herself, and Sophie can do it backwards with her eyes closed!! Guess those Saturday morning classes are paying off...
