Every year, Nalco's daycare center parades all the children in their costumes through Nalco's Lobby.  Below is a video from today's event.

Rodger's Birthday

Since we spent the weekend in Wisconsin, we celebrated Rodger's birthday on Sunday night.  Below is the Birthday cake with family!  Thank you to everyone for the well wishes and gifts!

Visit to Madison, WI

Rodger and Valerie enjoyed a weekend getaway to Madison, WI while Grandma Janis and GG watched the Girls and Watson.  We had a WONDERFUL weekend visiting Frank Lloyd Wright's home in Spring Green, WI - Taliesin, staying at the beautiful Livingston Inn Bed and Breakfast in Madison, walking around the largest Farmer's Market we've ever seen, and enjoying the Wisconsin vs. Michigan State game.  We also enjoyed a couple lovely dinners out in downtown Madison - Graze and Delmonicos (we would strongly recommend both!).

Kuiper's Family Farm

It was such a wonderful day today, we decided to head out to Kuiper's Family Farm for some fun, and apple pie... and apple cider, apple cider doughnuts, another apple pie, some fresh apples, and another apple pie.  Rodger went shopping with Sophie while V and Abby waited in the car.

Halloween Time!

Halloween 2012 was the Wizard of Oz theme for the Guebert family... with Sophie as Dorthy, Abby as Scarecrow, Watson as Lion, Daddy as Tin Man, and Valerie as the Wicked Witch.

Meeting Tony LaRussa

Tony LaRussa held a book signing at Anderson Bookstore in downtown Naperville for his new book One Last Strike about last year's World Series run.  After waiting a little over two hours, Rodger was finally able to meet Tony and see his WS rings. 

By the way, never expected so many Cardinal fans in the Naperville area!
