We took the girls to the Morton Arboretum this morning to enjoy the Children's park and the beautiful weather.

The family came out to see Ava's last softball game of the season.  Everyone had a nice time at the game along with Dairy Queen for dessert.

A Day in the City

Rodger took a week of vacation around the 4th of July to catch up on projects around the house and spend some time with the family.  Despite a very lengthy "To Do" list, we decided to take the girls into the city for the day and meet up with Auntie Kay.  We visited the American Girl Store, the Children's museum at Navy Pier, and dinner at Grand Lux Cafe off of the Mag Mile.

Valerie decided to have the girls pictures taken in Ballerina and Princess dresses.  They really turned our great and are some of our favorite photos of the girls!
