Rodger and Valerie are Expecting BG2!

We are proud to announce that Valerie is 8 weeks pregnant with Baby Guebert #2. Valerie has been experiencing bouts of Morning Sickness but otherwise doing well. We are so excited and can't wait to introduce our newest addition to everyone.

Look who's coming to the pool today

Sophie and Mommy completed swim class at the beach. We sang swim songs, went under water, and swam for toys. She still needs to work on blowing bubbles and kicking, but overall she did great!

Loran Enjoys China

Loran was chosen again for a University sponsored trip to Asia. This year Loran enjoyed Beijing and other sites in China. We are so proud of her accomplishments and the opportunities she has worked so hard for. Included is a picture of Loran sitting on the Great Wall of China. She has posted many more photos on her Facebook account

A day at the Arboretum

Grandma and Papa had a special girls day with Ava, Mae, and Sophie.  They climbed a tree house, splashed in the pond, and learned about flowers.  Everyone had a great time!

Cabinet Locks

Here is reason #12 while Rodger needed to attach a cabinet lock under the sink.  Sophie is into EVERYTHING!  Nothing stands in her way...

I'm 10 months old!!

Sophie is now 10 months old and is very mobile.  She crawls and climbs, cruises and holds on to hands to walk.  She is very inquisitive, and peeks her head into anything she can find.  Sophie loves to open cabinets and closet doors.  She has 9 teeth now and weighs approximately 22 pounds.

Mackinac Island Trip

Happy 4th... Chinese style

Sophie enjoyed a bit of Chinese food at one of our Naperville favorites, Chinese Kitchen. It just happened to be during July 4th weekend... Not the most Patriotic meal, but OH did she like it!!

Ravinia Night

We went to Ravinia to hear the Prairie Home Companion show on July 3rd.  Sophie loved sitting at a table her size and waving to all of the picnic goers nearby.  It was a great summer evening.
