Sophie's First Vist to the Art Institute of Chicago

Monet, Picasso, Matisse, Guebert?? Well, maybe someday. We decided to immerse Sophie into world of Artistic greats at the Art Institute of Chicago. Kay and Matt joined us for the day at the Art Institute to see the new Modern Wing as well as the Matisse exhibit. After the exhibit, we ventured over to the Italian Village for a late lunch and then to Macy's for a little shopping. Everyone had a really great day!!

Sitting at the Big Girl Table

Sophie is having so much fun now that she has learned to sit up. Here she is sitting at the big girl table at daycare. This morning, we found her on her hands and knees in her crib. I realize that our life is going to change... we are going to have a crawling baby in the next few weeks! Watch out!!

I love sweet potatoes and puffs

First Cardinals Game

I LOVE to swim!

First Trip to the Beach

It was a little chilly as Sophie took a stroll on the beach. She LOVED her new sunglasses and was very interested in the water and sand.

YEAH!! Jodi's newest book came out this week. I'm going to read it over the long weekend in Florida.

Watson's eye surgery

Poor baby Watsie. He had to have eye surgery on his birthday to prevent eye infections and ulcers due to his droopy eyelids. Watson had to stay the night at the Animal Hospital, and he came home miserable, tired, and wearing a cone on his head. Hopefully, he will be up to his normal self in the next few days.
