Happy Birthday, Watson

Watson turned one year old this weekend. Andy, Margret, and the kids came over to celebrate. We had dinner and birthday cake. In order to have more candles on the cake (and more for the girls to blow out), we put candles on the cake for the number of dog years old he is. Thank goodness, because you can never have enough candles on a cake when Ava is around!

Watson enjoyed his doggie treats from the local doggie bakery.

Our first graduate

Watson graduated from Puppy School! He knows all of the basic commands AND won second place in the Doggie Olympics.

The only problem now is that he only knows the command when Rodger says them. When I tell him to STAY, he just looks at me funny. Oh well.

President's Day Weekend 2010

Look who was sitting up on her own in the sunshine!! Daddy was holding her in this photo, but Sophie was successfully sitting by herself on the lanai. She still hasn't rolled over, but Mommy and Daddy are working on it with her. Don't you just love her smile!!

Happy Valentines Day

At daycare, Sophie made her first Valentine for her parents. She was all dressed up in red and white and happy to give it to Mommy and Daddy. We celebrated Valentine's Day in Florida with Grandma and Papa.
Sophie received her first Valentine from a boy in her class... Ryan. From the looks of this picture, she seems to be pining over him. She held on (and then ate) the Valentine from him during our airplane ride to Florida.

Superbowl Friday

It is my treat day at school on Friday, so I decided that a good theme would be "Superbowl Friday". I made Kelly's cheese dip, Hot wing Crack dip, Chips and dip, Hot Wings, and football shaped cookies. Mom helped me decorate these. We were particularly happy with the way the New Orleans Saints Fleur de Leis symbol turned out! I hope that the math department appreciates our hard work!
