Sophia Ann Guebert is Here

At 12:05 AM on September 12, our beautiful daughter, Sophia Ann Guebert, entered the world!! She is 7 lbs and 19" long. We arrived at the hospital on Friday morning at 9:00 AM to be induced but Valerie had only dilated to 3 and the baby's heat rate appeared she was stressing during contractions. At 11:30 PM, Dr. Dunn suggested we proceed with a c-section and Sopia arrived 35 minutes later. Both Sophia and Valerie are doing very well.

Labor Day, Not our Labor Day

Because Valerie was on bed rest, she was only allowed to sit on the porch to watch the parade.  The rest of the gang celebrated under the new tent that provided great shade during the parade.  Watson loved the people watching, as well as the new bone that Grandma bought him. Happy Labor Day to all!
