So good we used it for the Christmas card

Sometimes the best photos are the ones that weren't planned that far in advance... we had a great photo session on the cruise and ended up with many gorgeous shots of each other.

Field trip to the Field Museum

Abby was a little disappointed when going on her field trip to the Field Museum... I think that she would have rather gone to see a real pyramid in Egypt instead.  Nonetheless, she always has a good time and a smile on her face.

Capellas performance - Summer 2022

What a treat to perform at LaSorella as part of the Capellas.  The girls are so lucky to be able to shine and do what they love.

Dancing with a Broadway Star

Sophie and her dance studio ADA had a master class with Thayne Jasperson, one of the actors/dancers from the original Broadway production of Hamilton.  Thayne is the one that sings "Farmer Refuted" and is the understudy for the King.  He was also in Newsies and High School Musical. Sophie absolutely loved learning about beat boxing, acting, and dancing from this Broadway superstar.

Road Show - Vocal Pops Performance 2022

Sophie and Abby love show choir.  Here is the end of year concert for 5/6th grade.  Abby was a star among the Starlight group and Sophie enjoyed being a feature dancer in the Dynamites.  Both girls sang and danced in Capellas too.  Here's the video:

Abby sings in the WJHS talent show

Give it up for the only fifth grader who performed in the 2022 talent show.  Abby sang "Shallow" and was the star of the day nailing her performance in front of the school.

Zoom Backgrounds

When I asked my students what they will remember most about Mrs. Guebert this year, many of them wrote:  I will remember her daily new zoom backgrounds.  Well, yes... if I had to be at home, I might as well have fun with it.  I tried to find something to make either me, Mr. Buckley, or my students laugh.  So, if it happened to be Taco Tuesday or national umbrella day, we celebrated with a new background.  Here were a few that I remembered to snapshot of myself during spirit week.
